Poweredge Skate Magazine Vintage Going Online

poweredge

Now that newspapers are going out of business facing competition from the web we’re driven to putting old content online so we still have stuff to blog about. The skate magazine Poweredge founded back in 1991 has been partially pushed to the web so that we can visit the days before our knees wore out and Tony Hawk was still a promising kid with a lot of money and a cool backyard.  I preferred the Flash magazine layout of the old Thrasher mags put online, but this is a good start for Poweredge.

Poweredge was formed in 1987 and “was forced to close its doors back in 1991″ according to the website Rocky linked to.
