Pro-tec Vigilante Helmet with BOA Lacing

Wrapping your skull in Pro-tec is a good idea whether you’re prone to falling down the stairs in a drunken stupor or just hitting your head while getting off the chairlift. Their new 2009 Vigilante Helmet is the first in the line to come with the same BOA lacing system that’s used on so many snowboard boots, horseshoes, and now tents. We’ll have to assume that the metal laces run inside the helmet to adjust fit since running them under your chin could cause your face to get ripped off if you stuck a branch in one of the vents and yanked the helmet back. The Protec Vigilante Helmet has a cloth cover and Protec’s Plantronics audio setup.
