Third World Travel Packs: Bulletproof Backpacks

It seems like only last week I was complaining about kids crowding my Nordic mall walking with their newfound summer freedom, and already those same kids are back-to-school shopping for bulletproof backpacks. A duo of opportunist fathers in Boston created My Child’s Pack, a company that specializes in making backpacks to protect kids from school shootings. They’re selling the backpacks for $175, but there’s no price break for home schooled kids. Match it with the stab-proof hoody and your kid might be safe enough to even walk to school.
