A “kayak angler” is a person who fishes for fish from a kayak, not a person who uses a much larger boat to fish for people in kayaks. Though it seems these people in kayaks are often in need of help of people in much larger boats. Scores of inexperienced anglers are climbing into kayaks since it’s a much more affordable (and fun) way to go fishing. While that might be fine in the summer, at the end of December their capsized boats and swimming antics become something of a problem. The other day authorities had to rescue six capsized anglers. Maybe they could put on some kayaking lessons next summer.
