Astana Jerseys Fading in the Wash at the Giro

Between rider protests over unsafe courses and the economic collapse of Kazakh economy responsible for paying Team Armstrong Astana, it’s been a pretty interesting Giro. My favorite story besides El Diablo running the course barefoot is the mysterious fading jerseys of Team Astana. Their shirts are like the photo that Marty McFly carried back to the Enchantment Under the Sea Dance. The only Kazakh logo that hasn’t faded off Team Astana’s kit is the one that hasn’t defaulted on their payments to the team.
