Travis Pastrana was headed into the final 11 miles of a snowy rally race carrying a 1:44 lead when he ran into a bit of the local Michigan deer population. Anyone who grew up in the great Midwest has enjoyed the thrill of seeing a deer dart in front of their car moments before an expensive accident. The worst is when the animal’s still alive and you have to obey the ‘law of the road’ and finish it off instead of leaving it to die.
