Swedish Army Bike Available in the U.S.

Swedish Army technology might lag behind the rest of the developed world, but they still make a killer bike. The Kronan Bike is based on the Swedish Army bike from 1940, which begs the question: Why hasn’t anyone taken over Sweden? I’ll annex the country this weekend if all they ride are these little bikes—some crushed glass sprinkled over the road would bring their army machine to its knees.

Yeah, soldiers on bikes, just like the vietnamese did on the ho chi minh trail.
The bikes are obviously not used anymore and the Kronan version is not as rugged as the original bikes from the 40s.

Is that a “ring ring” bell on the right handle bar? I’m guessing something about the rules of engagement require that you ring the bell before opening fire on opposing forces.

Get your facts right! The only thing these Chinese Kronan Bikes has incomon with the Swedish produced military transport bikes are a bit of stylin. They have been tested by Swedish Conumer Board and the quality was so poor they were found to be a hazard to use!!!

I think I have an original 1940’s model. Does anyone know if Kronan was the headbadge name, or if there were others. Mine is a Imperial Original and looks in every way like the Kronan other than the handlebars and front rod brake. It is not a Swiss Army model as we did a comparison against a known 1940 Swiss bike. This thing is a tank. Short of beating it with a sledge hammer, it would be hard to break.
