Free Lift Tickets With Your CA or NV License Plates

Residents of California and Nevada have the option to renew their license plates with the Tahoe Fund’s option and get two free lift tickets out of the deal. Fewer Skiers, but Resorts Still “Win” with More Gambling in Tahoe

Judge Blocks Ski Resort Expansion in Lake Tahoe

  A judge blocked a proposed expansion of Homewood Mountain Resort on the west shore of Lake Tahoe yesterday, saying that the developers had not adequately considered a smaller and less environmentally intrusive overhaul. Ski Jump Between Trees Goes Awry

Lake Tahoe skier Josh “Baby J” Daiek had been hitting a natural jump in the Tahoe backcountry all year. It kicks the skier into a gap between trees. He lined up the jump and hit it last week, but on takeoff things went awry. He hit a chunk of ice and flew off-axis. He collided [ more... ]
