First Attempt at a Ski Jump

Tuesday, February 5th, 2013

South Dakota 12-Year-Old Builds Ski Jump

Wednesday, August 4th, 2010

No, that photo’s not from 1984. It’s from South Dakota. Yes, I just made fun of a 12-year-old. A South Dakota boy stoked on ski jumping convinced his dad to help him build a summer ski jump for training. They used a Bobcat tractor and pinned down fake grass. An irrigation system keeps it smooth [ more... ]
