Matchstick Productions created a video called the Superheroes of Stoke that takes a look all the way back to 1992 when they started making ski films. It’s an interesting look at the way filming and skis have evolved while, I would argue, the ethos of the sport has remained unchanged. Sure, filming technology has improved to the point where 20-year-old ski video is about as dynamic as Walter Cronkite sitting at his desk, but those guys back in the 90s were still riding hard. Regardless, a great teaser for the looming ski season.
