Idaho Family Suing U.S. Forest Service Over a Tree That Fell on Their Son

A family in Idaho is suing the U.S. Forest Service because a dead tree near a fire ring fell in a gust of wind and injured their then 6-year-old son. Judge Blocks Ski Resort Expansion in Lake Tahoe

  A judge blocked a proposed expansion of Homewood Mountain Resort on the west shore of Lake Tahoe yesterday, saying that the developers had not adequately considered a smaller and less environmentally intrusive overhaul. Injured Skiers Suing Resort

Two skiers injured at Heavenly Resort have filed suits against the resort’s parent company, Vail. First Descents is Suing Eddie Bauer’s First Ascents to Protect its Trademark
