K2 reaches back into the archives for some van life footage to kick off the Powder Highway video series. In Episode 1, a bunch of Eddie Bauer (the same people who make my flannel-lined jeans) athletes ride some lovely conditions in Sun Valley. The so called Powder Highway is a route along routes 5 and 95 in British Columbia that touch on 8 ski resorts as well as a couple doze heli operators and snowcat outfits.

It’s just like a high-profile rock star fight except no one cares. Climber Christian Stangl took a self-portrait at the summit of K2 after a 70-hour climbing push, and now other climbers are questioning whether the Austrian actually made the summit.
