I could watch this video 50 times. Cyclists have been working to popularize the sport of cyclocross for years. Joey here may have done it all alone in a few seconds. I think Joey’s okay, too.

On a dark and stormy night in Sweden a man arrived home to a strange bellowing from his front yard. He went to inspect.
“At first I wondered if it was the crazy neighbors, but then I heard it again and went and checked. I saw something really big up in a tree in my neighbors’ yard and it was a moose.”
Wow, I hope the crazy neighbors don’t read the newspaper or you may owe them an apology. It turns out that the moose was drunk out of its mind on fermented apples. After it had eaten all of the easy-to-reach apples, it went back for the ones high on the tree and managed to get stuck. Police arrived and managed to cut enough of the branches off the tree to drop the moose to the ground where it promptly fell asleep.
This video got my pulse ticking. There’s something about watching the guy walk up and clip the lock, then get setup to pedal away that loads on the suspense. Then this young woman charges out of nowhere and steamrolls him. POW! Nice knockout punch. It’s also notable that she didn’t pick up the bike lock and start pummeling the thief on the ground. Not that I’d have judged her if she had. Almost 200,000 people have watched this video. Think they’ll identify the guy?
While the rest of LA was stuck in traffic one man climbed into his boat and paddled his way to work. Going upstream on the way home should have been a lot more work, but I’m sure it seemed easier since he was on his way home.
