Madman adventurer Dean Potter highlines at Cathedral Peak as the sun drops and moon rises. Photographer Mikey Schaefer shot it from over a mile away using some high end equipment to make the moon appear huge. I suspect he was more nervous about timing the walk than Dean was about falling. This video, among others, will be featured in an upcoming National Geographic special on Dean.

Do yourself and turn off the sound on your computer before watching this video of Dean Potter slacklining across Enshi Grand Canyon in east China. I wonder what song he was listening to on those headphones? The span of canyon he walked had him 1.8km off the ground. That’s crazy, I always use a safety line for anything over 1km.

As part of their work for National Geographic, the Camp 4 Collective shot this video of Dean Potter on his Yosemite Falls high line. It offers a bit of background on how he sets the rig up and in general makes him seem less crazy than some of his other videos.
