Watching 27 Orphan Bear Cubs Who Won’t Go To Sleep

Pick Apples, Save Bears (and Humans) in Yosemite

Yosemite National Park Officials are asking tourists to come out to the park and pick apples from two of the park’s historic orchards. Bears Wander Onto Local TV News

This week in human encroachment on wild territory, a family of bears wandered onto the outdoor meteorology set of a TV news studio during a live broadcast in Pennsylvania. It would have been the first local newscast worth watching if they’d destroyed the set, but instead they just hung out for about half an hour while the weatherman sought shelter inside. This would have been perfect for a segment on bear spray vs guns.
