Aspen Skier Dies After Colliding With Another Skier

Two East Coast skiers riding at Aspen crashed into each other near the end of the day yesterday. One suffered minor injuries. The other traumatic head injuries that left her unconscious, and she later died at the hospital. Both were wearing helmets.  Authorities are still investigating the accident. Drought May Drive Bears Downtown Aspen

Pile of Dead Cows Found in Wilderness Near Aspen

Where’s the beef? About 29 cows wandered off a ranch near Aspen and many ended up dying of exposure near popular hot springs in the Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness. “Hungry bears, human bathers and thawing cow carcasses aren’t a good mix, according to agency officials.” Indeed. Woman Pays Back for Rescue by Building Aspen Mountain Rescue Team a New Headquarters

Aspen Suspends Ski Instructor Who Complains of Low Wages
