Hed Cycling was rolling around the Interbike tradeshow floor with this steertube cap that converts your headset into a lotion dispenser. They say it’s for sunscreen, but that doesn’t mean you can’t fill it with DzNuts, KY, or ketchup in case you find a hotdog stand during your ride.

Ketchup is bad enough - K-9 jelly oozing all over the bars? Makes me want to quit riding and spend all my time watching scenes from Last Tango in Paris.

As far as I can see this there will be a large number of less-intelligent/stoned/drunk people trying to apply sunscreen from their head-tube while in the process of riding, thereby forgetting that the things rolling by them at 50mph are actually 2,000 pound masses of steel. I guess it’s evolution at work.

I don’t think I want to know what K-9 jelly is.
That will hold plenty of “pick me up”; just gotta make sure you keep a rolled up dollar bill.
