Cordarounds Light-up Business Pants for Biking at Night

My poor friend Ethan Laek of Laek House is seeing his baby grow up without him. First Timbuk2 pushed out their Matrix bags that look normal during the day, but in a car’s high beams they light up a like a strip club marquee fighting to be recognized on the Vegas strip. Laek House has been offering their Elvs reflective-by-night shirts and hats for a few years, and their products still kick ass. A new company called Cordarounds is the business-casual version of Laek House. I suppose we should just be happy that Ethan won’t need to offer seersucker and corduroy pants on his new site. One vaguely interesting innovation that Cordarounds offers in their light-up-at-night pants is that the back pockets can be pulled out for greater visibility—a nice feature that’s likely to leave your wallet on the sidewalk when pedaling home from the bar. Oh well, hopefully this makes it easier for more people to climb on a bike.
