Loveland Starting Snowmaking

loveland

Loveland ski area in Colorado will begin making snow in two days, and they should have enough of the white cement to open a run or two within a couple weeks. With global warming getting more difficult to pass off as God’s will, we’ll have to rely on this kind of operation a little bit more every year for a lot of skiers. The funny thing is that snowmaking takes a lot of resources that only contribute more to global warming. Of course, Loveland gets plenty of natural snow, too, but I don’t think they’re getting much this time of year.
