The Speed Vest: At Least Cars Will Look at You

The Speed Vest is a giant speedometer on your back that lets all the drivers behind you know that you’re a huge nerd. It also cues them in that you’re probably a computer engineer and make pretty good money, so if they hit your ass you’ll be able to afford a real lawyer to litigate. At the very least, it helps cars measure how accurate their dashboard speedometers are.

    I want to see one of those snow or volcano descenders wear it and get some real speed. I guess they’d have to add another digit.
