Ultimate Thong is Not What It Sounds Like

ultimate-thong

The Teva Ultimate Thong is a flip-flop that tries to add performance value. That’s kind of like tweaking out an already sweet Chevy Cavalier with a spoiler and racing stripe—sure you could do it (and it would be awesome) but you already have a jacked-up truck for the days you want to go muddin’. Save your Chaco Z/2s for days you need performance and leave the crappy nylon strap/spoiler off your chillaxing gear.

It would be even more ultimate and performance if that strap actaully went around the heel area. Of course then it would be one of many sandals out there. And don’t knock the Cavalier! I happen to know that there are at least 3 teenagers in my area that aren’t ashamed of riding in their dull red two door Cavalier. They heckled me as I sat waiting at a light on my road bike.
    *Scene*
    Teens: “Hey!….Hey!….Is that a Huffy?”
Me: “No, in fact it isn’t.”
    *Awkward Pause*
    Me: “Hey!…..Hey!…..Is that a Cavalier?”
    Teens: “Yes!”
    Me: “NICE!”

hey bjornar, yer WAAAAY too tolerant. not only can you trick yer ride … you can also trick out a flamethrower to look just like a leafblower. you hose em, then vanish into the shrubbery. the smartass pukes will never know what hit em; it ll take the fired dept & coroner HOURS if not days to separate charred flesh from charred vinyl.

    q. what’s red ‘n’ orange and looks good on teenagers?
    a. fire.

Rocky - You do know that you have linked to the z/1 rather than the z/2 which is a much more stable sandal. Not ireally mportant since this thread seems to be about cars!
