Bike Clipped From Rack by Police Because it was Too Ugly

A rider in Washington D.C. left her bike locked outside Union Station in the morning to find it missing when she returned to pedal home after the work day. Before heading home and scanning Craigslist for it, she stopped into the Union Station and authorities said they had deemed the bike “unsightly” and cut the lock and removed it.

Local news picked up the story, and the Bicycle Spokesman put together some photos of other ugly bikes that the Union Station Bike Police would do well to avoid.
