At least this is one needless upgrade that won’t get stolen off your bike while you’re wandering the aisles of the organic grocer testing the freshness of the vegetables. The Brooks Barbican Messenger Bag is a $379 bag, and it doesn’t even come blanketed with the Louis Vutton(sp?) logo. The old-world-style messenger is made from waxed leather and secures with a few magnets, so it’s not exactly going to be good for getting a 15-minute Fed-Ex package across town, but let’s be honest, these guys are looking for the Gucci bike rider who wants a little faux history with their Bike Couture.
