Hopefully the recycled bike rides better than it looks. This plastic bike is made from reinforced polypropylene and could eventually be made from recycled plastic though this prototype isn’t. Sounds like a nice idea, but let’s face it—bike frames aren’t exactly crowding the landfills. Just because cyclists are earth-loving hippys doesn’t mean we’ll lap up anything with the word “recycled” stamped into it.
