Dutch Campsite Raft Good Way to Welcome Global Warming

If people don’t take Al Gore’s advice and quit using fossil fuels, then raft camping like these industrious Canadians will be our only option. The Camping Raft is made from trees, barrels, and tarps, and it costs about $150 a night to rent (plus canoe/cigarette boat rental). Of course, you could make your own Floating Campsite with the leftovers from any standard frat party. It’s too bad Americans don’t like paying $150 a night to sleep on garbage because I could have made a fortune renting out rooms in the backyard at my last place.

Those “industrious Canadians” are actually Dutch…but they do have Canadian canoes.

I wish there were camping rafts in Canada — I’d like to try them out.
