Czech Tower Jumping Makes Slacklining Look Like a Lame Ride at the State Fair

cliff-jump

There were only Grades 1 through 3 until a guy named “Oxygen” came along and set some grade fours. Watch the video and you’ll see the difference between grades three and four. These Czechs jump among the thousands of sandstone spires that shoot out of the ground like bottle rockets stuck in a sandbox. The video has some insane shots and doesn’t disappoint on the whippers you’d expect people to take when they’re jumping from one cliff to the next.

Sometimes, a phallic stone tower is just a phallic stone tower.

“Jumping requires fearlessness, a fair amount of agility, and a high threshold for pain,” Prochazka said. “Broken ribs and damaged spines are fairly common.”
