Wave Tribe Surf Bags Make Good Trash
Those PET bags made from recycled milk jugs do a great job keeping stuff out of the landfill for an extra generation, but those extra couple years in circulation are a blink in time compared to how long they’ll sit in the trash. Wave Tribe’s Generation 2 Board Bags use a little PET, but most of the bag is made from hemp, which breaks down relatively quickly and naturally reenters the earth when it’s time to throw it in the trash. It’s like an apple core, so it’s okay to throw on the side of the highway when you’re done with it. The Hemp Traveler Surfboard Bags cost about $90.

Of course the beauty of America is that everyone can have and make an opinion but I wonder why someone that has never even seen our bags would trash talk our products just to get people to buy from them. If you want cheap overpriced stuff that never sold in the surf shop and that will sit in a landfill then go buy from Surfer Surplus—in fact, I am sure they do very well because most surfers want a ‘deal’. Who doesn’t? What is the ultimate cost of that deal, instant gratification will cost the planet 1000 years . . . but who cares, you got it cheap. ~ Peace, Derek D wavetribe.com
