BataleonNZ Limited-Edition Snowboard
Bataleon makes those snowboards with the trihedral bases that are a bit convex. The idea is that they make for more forgiving landings and powder turns than conventional bases without sacrificing edge hold. They sell like mad in Europe but haven’t really blown up in the U.S., which might be part of the reason Bataleon is testing the waters in New Zealand. They made 50 of these BateleonNZ Snowboards for the Land that Time Forgot. The LE snowboard is available direct from Bataleon for about $1000.
