Pisat Solar Can-Size Camp Lantern
Those Brunton Solar Panels look slick, but I always have unreasonable doubts about whether or not they’ll help me charge up my gear. Brunton seems like they have their act together enough to ship these things with enough adaptors to charge up a space shuttle, but the Pisat Solar K-Light is as idiot-proof as they come. The little camp lantern comes with a dedicated solar panel ensuring that you won’t charge your iPod for six hours in the bright sun only to find out you still can’t listen to Queen sing about your bicycle. The beer-can-size lantern costs about $60.
