Some pilot out to impress a stewardess who complained that her jumpseat was uncomfortable forced a passenger to sit in the bathroom for a three-hour flight to open up a spot for the stewardess.

The traveler was flying on a buddy pass from a friend, and it looks like he might get a couple million dollars in addition to his free cross-country flight. I’ll loudly complain to anyone in earshot about sitting next to the bathroom, but I suppose you’d get used to the smell if you sat in there by yourself for three hours. I wonder if they gave him a meal service or free drinks at least. A funny story and an awful flight, but $2 million? I’ve sat thorough high school plays longer and more painful than a flight to L.A. in the bathroom, and I didn’t get to sue anyone.
