Google Oceans for Finding Surf Spots

google-ocean

It’s only a matter of time until Google begins delivering new cartons of milk before we know the stuff in our fridge is expired. Right now their army of nerdy programmers is working on developing a version of Google Earth that maps the ocean floor. I’ll use it to mock up shots for my Seaquest DSV online fan show, but you might be able to use it to search out previously unknown surf breaks. Right now they have a list of marine data online, but the full-on Google Ocean isn’t available yet.
