Practically Legal to Steal Bikes in Utah
It must have really burned this guy to have found his stolen bike for sale on eBay only to be told that he was no longer the rightful owner. And it’s a slow, painful burn. You can tell it’s a slow burn because he built this fairly impressive website and started a letter writing campaign to the Utah legislators to try to get the laws changed. Apparently Utah law is such that someone can take stolen goods to a pawn shop, wait 10 days to sell them, and then the rightful ownership legally changes to the person who stole your stuff. Someone should have told the meth addicts that stole all of our rental skis about that law.
Thanks Bryant

KILL! The meth addicts are busy in summer too, here in Utah. Hate, hate, HATE! Nothing wrong with your average bike thief you couldn’t solve by U-locking them by the neck to a tree or a lightpole.
