GPS to Help You Avoid Cops?

cop-sleeping

Too bad this kid on his bike didn’t setup his GPS to avoid cops. He was hit by an off-duty officer on her way home from the Grove City bar where she was getting hooked up with all kinds of free drinks from her bartending son. This new GPS technology is available from Speedtrap—it’s a web 2.0 setup with software that you can download directly to your portable GPS. It’ll tell you when you’re approaching traffic cameras or common speed traps setup by local police. That off-duty cop? Ten days in jail and two years without a license; I bet she’ll have to buy a bike.
