Road Trip from the Boring Place in Hell that Smells Like Feet

road-trip-boyzzz

A few fun-loving guys from Utah are trying to drive through every state in the lower 48 within 5 days. Swerving back and forth across the country for a workweek sounds like a nice time; I wonder which interstate has been their favorite so far. After two days they’d driven 3100 of the 7500 miles, so things are looking up for them and that sweet minivan. You can follow the trip without smelling what it’s like not to shower for 5 days while living solely on beef jerky and Burger King at Great American Roadtrip, if they ever get the site running again.

When I first heard of this little road trip, all I could think of was Charles Kuralt’s quote: “Thanks to the Interstate Highway System, it is now possible to travel from coast to coast without seeing anything.”

A Scion xB? Not exactly my first choice for a road trip. That thing is a commuter car and not exactly the most aerodymanic vehicle. They’re going to have a good time fighting the wind through the plains states.
