Velorbis Long-John Cargo Bike Cooler than Xtracycle

The steering on this thing would be insane. You have a massive wheelbase with a front wheel hanging halfway into next Thursday, and all that weight up front would make things pretty exciting when taking corners coming down hills. The Long-John from Velorbis is a replica of a classic delivery bike from about 1938, and the fact that it even needed to be resurrected it proof that humans have devolved. The rest of the Velorbis line is worth a look, but the classic one-person tandem is definitely the gem of the line.

Ah yes, but you haven’t ridden a sweet Long John until you ride the HPM Long Haul.
Handmade by a master right here in Eugene, Oregon.

It corners GREAT on down hills, even with the rated 200 pounds. A great loading platform, stand, and steering mechanism make it the best two wheeled cargo bike out there.
Now, I own and Xtracycle too and use it for everyday use but this one is the workhorse. It’s the pick-up (handy and hardy and the Xtracycle is the SUB (sporty and functional).

I also like the Velorbis Long John, but my favourite Velorbis bicycle is the SCRAP DELUXE. It is sooo cool and I am getting one soon. I will let you all know how it rides.
