Nike+ iPod Patent Shows Nike Might Catch Up with 10-Year-Old Heart Rate Technology
This fantastic ink and pen patent drawing shows some plans Nike has to boost their Nike+ iPod line. It looks like sensors on your feet, wrists—and based on the drawing—embedded in your chest would collect data on heart rate, hydration level, and likely a GPS location. It’s nice to see Nike bringing the line up to spec with heart rate technology that’s already filtered down to $40 watches.
