Bamboo Composite Frame Looks Like Carbon Fiber
Say goodbye to sustainable wooden bike frames. This carbon-fiber-looking frame is made with bamboo fibers, but they’re embedded in plastic polymer to create a lightweight composite material. The BME Bamboo Composite Road Frame has all the sexy curves you like in a carbon frame, though sadly the frame is to flexy to ride. It’s an interesting idea—taking the recycling out of sustainable building. It’s kind of like refilling a water bottle once before throwing it away. Still, you can’t beat those curves with a dorky wooden bike.

Thanks for the link. For the very opposite of dorky in wooden bikes, you’ve *got* to check out the lines on this absolutely luscious Renovo bike.
