Cars will think you’re signaling planes to land when you start waving your arms around with the Safe Turn Indicators. These arm-mounted, Australian-made bike safety lights begin blinking when you move your arms out to signal turns. It’d be easy to make fun of them, but they only cost $20 and might save someone’s life—then again they’re just as likely to get you beat up if you don’t take them off when you’re walking through the mall.
