HYmini: Hybrid Solar and Windpower Charger

The sun hasn’t been out in four days and my iPod battery is close to dead. Instead of hiking out of the backcountry to plug it into the broken cigarette lighter in my Buick, I can charge it with the HYmini. The HYmini uses solar and windpower to give your dead electronics life, and it will cost about $50. This’ll be great to stick on my handlebars or the top of my helmet for the ride to work, and it’ll also work on car windows. An hour in the sun gives you enough power for about 2 hours of MP3 play, while running into the wind with it for an hour gives you 15 minutes of talk time on your phone.
