Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soapbox
It turns out that Dr. Bronner was batshit insane. He escaped a mental institution in 1947 before creating the formula for his soap, which is so revered by backpackers. The bizarre rants on the side of the bottles are part of what he called, “The Moral ABC,” which, he said were, “TO UNITE ALL MANKIND FREE!”
Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soapbox is a documentary about his bizarre life.
On an unrelated, twisted note, it looks like Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soap tests positive for the date rape drug GHB when using police field kits. Police arrested the Germs drummer when his bottle tested positive; Drugnerd had a video.

Not sure about GHB but hippies take note. Soap = sex. Give it a try.

[…] Northern Light Coconut Oil does for surfers what Dr. Bronner does for backpackers. This jar of urine-colored oil is surfboard polish and after-sun slather in one. You can also use it as an antiseptic for scrapes and brushing your teeth. Rubbing it on your surfboard is also supposed to increase laminar flow, reducing drag so you can surf like the first Hawaiians to take up the sport. […]
