Leatherman Backcountry Pruning Tools

Backcountry people who haven’t found much of a use for Leatherman’s pliers might be interested in the new garden-pruning shears. Leatherman makes one called the Vista for hunters while the more global Hyrbrid has everything you need to build a lean-to (over the course of a few weeks). You can use the clippers to trim twigs and the bark lifter to scrape your dugout canoe to make it faster—there’s even a weed puller so you can beautify your front yard. They sell for about $60.
