River Boarding Human Slingshot
Banshee Riverboards are the white trash version of wakeboarding. Instead of being towed behind a boat, you tie a bungee cord to a rock, fallen tree, or bridge, and float downstream while the cord stretches up to 200 feet. Once it’s maxed out, you stand up and the cord yanks you upstream so you can carve turns or try to do tricks. It’s kind of like they’ve combined skim boarding with human slingshots—the getup sells for $289 including the board.
