Fishing Takes Over First Place for Eye Injuries: We’re #1! Say Fly Fishermen
Fishing just became the most popular sport for people who like reading about gruesome injuries. It used to be basketball, but now statisticians say that taking to the streams and lakes offers the best chance for eye damage. The interesting thing is that no one can explain why fishing eye injuries are on the rise, but data from the Helen Keller Foundation proves it. Hmm, maybe it has something to do with drinking tons of beer while throwing around barbed hooks? I’ll keep my sunglasses on.
