Iditarod Mushers Relying on Pee Pants in This Year’s Race
By Rocky Thompson on March 6th, 2013The Iditarod kicked off over the weekend and racers are cruising along the 1000-mile course trying to be the first to Nome. A few of them will rely on a North Carolina invention called Pee Pants. Developed for people like flight nurses who work without time for bathroom breaks, snowmobile racers and mushers have been using them. It’s a combination funnel, bike short, and tube that empties on the outside of your boot. Make sure it’s not twisted up or frozen as it’s difficult to find replacement gear halfway through the course. Pee Pants will be great for casual skiers when it hits the market, too. Be wary skiing below chairlifts.

Whatever it takes to get a leg up on the competition
Good idea! I have long thought of a tube that goes out your door while driving, so on those frantic road trips to nowhere, you dont have to get out time and time again when fortified with cup of coffee after cup..course this might be a bit better for us guys, but…Hey, I know, i will invent this…and will call it “WePee”..) or iPee?
