Backcountry Skiers Causing Problems for Canadian Grizzly

A bear and her three cubs near Alberta had the misfortune to choose a den near a skin track frequented by backcountry skiers. Officials recognized the problem and posted signs, but they’ve still had to ticket 11 people for skiing in the area, and we all know that means that a lot more have made it through without getting tickets.

One of the nice things about GoPros is that they can act as a sort of “black box” when things go wrong. They can record the cliff you fell over backwards, the car that hit you, or (coming soon) the bear that tore you limb from limb for waking it up.
