Watching 27 Orphan Bear Cubs Who Won’t Go To Sleep

I’ve heard from friends who have had triplets that it’s three times the work, and that when one wakes up at night, it wakes up all the others. A New Hampshire man with a generous heart has a similar problem, though it’s amplified 27 times. He usually cares for 3 to 5 orphan bear cubs each winter, but due to scarce food pushing sows into chicken coops and beehives where they get shot, he’s watching 27 bear cubs this winter, and some of them are refusing to hibernate waking up the others. So now they’re running around being super cute and burning calories, then eating more cornflake and dog food. He estimates it’ll cost him $1000 per cub to get through the winter.
