Skating Across China

From The Cleanest Line

A Patagonia-sponsored athlete set out for a rather long skateboarding trip across a stretch of China that would take him over and down too many 14k mountain passes to count. He filed the story of his trip with plenty of photos and video over at The Cleanest Line. Whenever I read about these cross-country longboard trips I can’t help but think, “these guys should try biking…it’s great.” Of course drivers probably have similar thoughts about cyclists. Still, you have to give a guy the respect he deserves for pushing a skateboard straight uphill for four days while cars scream past at top speed. If you can find your Zen in that situation, you can find peace anywhere.
