U.S. Government Declines Armstrong’s $5 Million Fraud Settlement

I will not be watching the human garbage known as Lance Armstrong on Oprah today, but I will take great joy in reading about his downfall in all the newspapers shortly after the interview airs. (Though it is stretched over two days, so we’ll it’ll be a drawn out joy). One good bit of news for people out there like myself deep in Schadenfreude, the U.S. Government has turned down Armstrong’s proposal of a $5 million payout and testimony against other dopers deeming it “inadequate.”

What’s most amazing to me about this situation is that Lance must not have a single friend left in the world. Anyone from his past who had been caught doping was treated as an outcast who betrayed him and systematically vilified and slandered. And now the group who doped and lied for him is being offered up so he can save himself.

Pro cycling really is a soap opera.

Human garbage? Can’t we just save that term for politicians, lawyers and Santa-debunking investigative journalists? Is it just me or does the term “pro cyclist” have the same ring as “pro lover”?

What makes this dude garbage is that the USADA spent $10 million busting him, when he could’ve just come clean.

Yeah – like all the other role models…

Dude, enough with the Lance hatred. Unless you are going to boycott viewing all cycling events/races/teams you don’t have a foot to stand on. As a blogger you’re entitled to show some bias, but it’s a turn off to many readers to use such harsh words. Not a good practice for a corporate sponsored blog.

Alright, alright, alright…Lance is still my main bud to pound the bongos with…

Seriously, if you want to read the biggest piece of hypocritical garbage read “It’s Not About the Bike”….with Lance it was all about the bike.

Former Olympic road-race winner Nicole Cooke’s been giving him a right going over in press over here in the UK, and quite rightly so. There are so many wrong’s with his behaviour. Check the lower video on here… http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/wales/21085639
