Triathletes Falling Off Their Bikes

By Rocky Thompson on December 17th, 2012

After swimming two miles in the Savageman Triathlon you go for a bike ride with 6,718 feet of elevation change over 55.7 miles. The Westernport Wall, where this video was shot, has a 31% grade. People who actually make it to up to the top on their bikes have their names inscribed on a brick that is then laid in the road. There’s a measure of indescribable joy in watching people in aero helmets fall off their bikes while moving very slowly.

Roadies. They should ride a mountain bike for a while. It would teach them how to unclip. Or maybe they could go playform…
