The Tour Divide race runs from Banff to New Mexico covering about 2700 miles with over 2000ft of elevation gain. Jay Petervary sets the world record for the ride in his final run on the race at just over 15 days. Petervary indulges in a sleeping bag this time around, where he logs about four hours each night between hammering on his pedals and fixing flats.

Umm, a bit more than 2,000 ft of elevation gain. Try 150,000 ft.
Write a comment…I believe its over 200,000!
When I read 2,000ft I was like: “Oh.”
